WEEK 1: NEW GROUPINGS? NEW DISCOVERIES.
For me, it is better to have new groupmates every new project. In this way, we will discover different skills and talents from our new members that we didn’t discover before.
MMA students are special. Special in a way that we are all gifted with great talents. Why are we here? It is because that we love art right? Before we decide to take up this course, we already know that we have skills in drawing, painting,photography, video editing, designing and many more. And we go to school to learn and explore new creative things and to develop the skills that we already have.
But how can you develop your talents and how can you discover new skills if you are always dependent to the leaders assigned to your group? Sometimes you have to work using your own skills and talents because there are times that “IT IS YOU” who will be the leader.
This is the disadvantage for me of having the same groupmates in the whole semester. We didn’t get the chance to discover what our other classmates are capable to do. Our tendency of having the same groupmates is we are only limited to them in discovering skills and talents.
But what’s really the purpose of being grouped? It’s for us to LEARN NEW THINGS through the talents and skills of others while developing our own. Because a true artist will not stop in discovering and learning to create great work of art.
So when will you unleash your creativity? NOW IS THE TIME.
(I’ll miss Bebz, Judiel, and Louina -I’ll miss Louina as my “seatmate”. I’m just comfortable to share her some of my stories. lol XD.- and Xavier? -not really, he’s still my groupmate. :D Anyways, I know that this is for the better.)
